Wayne Richardson

Wayne lives in McAlester , OK and comes from a history of classic quartet music which he has been involved with all his life. His career as a bass singer began in 1969 with the Travelers Quartet of Tulsa. He also sang with the Melodyaires of McAlester, Ok. David Engles' group The Vanguards, Bill Burns and the Kings Sons of Eufaula and most recently was a charter member of the Homesteaders Quartet of Weleetka for seven years.

Wayne comes by his love for quartet music from his father Russell Richardson, who sang bass for the Stamps Ozark Quartet in the late 1940's and the Believers Quartet of Tulsa. Wayne has been on the stage with many of the industries greats such as The Kingsmen, Florida Boys, Dixie Melody Boys, Palmetto State and many more. Wayne and his wife Janet have three grown children and grandchildren.

Wayne loves singing this style of quartet music and sees himself as one using his gift in obedience to Gods' calling on his life. Seeing people’s hearts and lives changed and people being touched by God makes all the miles worth while.
